Underage Users

Copeo is intended for users aged 18 and older, and we work hard to maintain a community exclusively for adults. We use a network of tools, systems, and manual and automated review and moderation processes, investing significant resources to prevent underage users from accessing our app.

These tools include automated analysis of profiles for warning signs in language and images used, manual reviews of suspicious profiles and activities, and user-generated reports. We also block email addresses, phone numbers, and other identifiers associated with underage users attempting to bypass these restrictions. Additionally, we rely on our users to report any profile that appears to involve a minor, allowing us to investigate the situation and remove the profile if necessary.

We do not want underage users on Copeo. End of discussion.

Prostitution/Pay-for-Prostitution

Prostitution of any kind, whether solicitation or provision, is against our Terms of Use. If a user encounters a profile that violates our terms, we encourage them to report it using the reporting tool available on all Copeo profiles or online. Reporting such violations allows our specialized community team to take appropriate actions, which may include removing the profile or banning the user.

Illegal Substances

Profiles (or users of Copeo) promoting illegal substances are in violation of our Terms of Use. We have a system in place to remove such profiles from the app. If a user comes across a profile violating our terms, we encourage them to report it through the app.

Harassment

We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment on the platform. We encourage all users to report any unacceptable behavior so that our community team can investigate the situation and take appropriate action.

Fraud

At Copeo, we take fraud very seriously and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for predatory practices of any kind. We have a dedicated fraud team using cutting-edge technology to analyze and detect fraudulent activities. This includes reviewing member profiles for warning language, conducting manual reviews of suspicious profiles and activities, and investigating user-generated reports.

Ultimately, no one should send money to someone they haven’t met in person, regardless of whether they met through Copeo. We also encourage our members to use our reporting tool to flag anyone soliciting financial information. These two actions can help prevent almost all scams and protect any potential victims.
